Custom Connect Microwave (CCMW) has optimized its industry-leading private bandwidth service on the routes Slough – Frankfurt and Basildon – Frankfurt. CCMWs latency between Slough-LD4 and Frankfurt-FR2 will be 4.56 milliseconds (ms) RTD (Roundtrip Delay Time). The RTD between NYSE Basildon and Frankfurt-FR2 will be 4.14ms. These latencies are the lowest known. They will be available per mid August 2015.
“Traders and risk managers will benefit from the fastest data service between the most important trading hubs in Europe,” says CCMW co-founder Jan Willem Meijer .“We are pleased that all market participants will be able to access exchange data at the industry’s lowest known latency.”
The Slough-Frankfurt connection is CCMW’s second Microwave route in Europe, after the Basildon-Frankfurt path. “We will continue to optimize and expand our paths between these major exchanges in order to deliver fastest possible solutions to the global finance community, as we have done constantly during the last years,” says Meijer.
